Welcome to Year 5!
We are excited to experience this Year 5 journey with you and look forward to the academic year ahead. In our class there are two adults who will be working with you all of the time. We have Miss Heron who is our class teacher and Mrs Bennett who is our wonderful classroom support.
In Year 5, we believe that learning should be rewarding, challenging and fun! We aim to provide learning opportunities which are interesting as well as preparing you for real life and Year 6 by encouraging independence and responsibility.
We want the year to be enjoyable and a great learning experience; therefore, we are not afraid to make mistakes and work together to overcome any barriers. We treat each other with respect and therefore our class is a safe and pleasant place to learn.
