Today we were introduced to an artist called Sarah Stephenson who uses metal to create sculptures that show movement by using curves. We looked at one of her sculptures ‘other’ and used this as inspiration to create our own three-dimensional sculptures using colourful paper.

Christmas comes early at the museum! We all had lots of fun making Christmas crafts and singing Christmas songs today at the Helena Thompson Museum

Recognising that we are all unique and special in God’s eyes. We talked about the special talents that God has given us and drew pictures of all the things that we love, what we are really good at and what makes us unique.

Reflecting on Remembrance and why the poppy is such an important symbol at this time of year. We all made our own poppies to add to our ‘Flanders Field’ display.
