Welcome to Year 5!
We hope you had a wonderful time over the summer holidays and are pleased to be back! It is going to be a fantastic year in year 5 this year and we are certainly ready for the challenge.
We are all going to achieve our goals together and have fun along the way with our Year 5 team. We have 2 class teachers this year; Mrs Lowery on Monday and Tuesday and Miss Orr on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday supported by the truly amazing Mrs Bennett! Together, we will ensure everyday challenges are set and success is achieved. We will provide a positive, kind and safe environment for you to learn and enjoy the curriculum as well as provide a place for you to thrive ready for your next chapter.
We are proud of you already!
St. Francis of Assisi
St. Francis of Assisi is well-known for his many miracles involving animals and birds and his compassion for healing critically ill and injured people. St. Francis is also the patron saint of ecology, including animals, their lives and welfare.
St Francis loved nature and treated all living things with respect because they were God’s creation.
“Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.”- St Francis of Assisi.
