The beginning of our year in Nursery!
What a wonderful start to our year in Nursery! In only a couple of weeks we have explored so much and begun to form some wonderful friendships. We have made some brilliant creations in the craft area using a range of materials, pretended to take orders and make buns in our role play area, rushed around the playground on the bikes and scooters, as well as so much more!
So far our nursery rhymes of focus have been ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ and ‘Five Currant buns’. Making and eating our own currant buns was definitely one of our favourite activities. We learnt so much when weighing out the ingredients and discussing what ingredients we would need. We’re looking forward to ‘Incy Wincy Spider’ next week so that we can use our magnifying glasses and go on a spider hunt!
