'Play in a Day'

On Wednesday 8th May, Class 5 enjoyed showcasing their 'Play in a Day' - Macbeth to parents and the whole school.  Their acting skills were amazing!

On Tuesday 30th April Class 5 attended the Catholic Primary School Cluster's Easter Service at Our Lady and St Michaels Church.  Our actors brilliantly performed their scene 'The Road to Emmaus'.

On Tuesday 16th April, Class 5 enjoyed their visit to St Mary's on the hill where they acted out the 'Stations  of the Cross'.

The Stations of the Cross are representations of the path Jesus bore on his way to the crucifixion. They involve Jesus enduring suffering, insults, moments of support, and relay the intense sacrifice that Christians believe Jesus undertook for human salvation.

On Monday 19th November, we had an exciting day when Fran a STEM Cumbria Ambassador, visited Class 5.  He taught us how to programme robots to follow simple instructions.
