Football Festival - 25th June 2019
Today, St Mary's took part in the Year 6 Football Festival. We have had a brilliant time following the FA's Respect Rules and came join third.
Small Schools Swimming Gala - Wednesday 12th June 2019
Well done to our wonderful swimmers who swam their hearts out in the small schools swimming gala. They were cheered on from the balcony by the rest of the class who are now claiming to have lost their voices!
On Thursday 22nd November, Class 6 were lucky to have the opportunity to visit Workington Magistrates Court. This linked nicely with their current focus about justice in R.E. lessons. Children were allowed to explore the courtroom and the cells. They took part in a role play based on a real life case about cyber bullying. Children were inquisitive and asked many questions. The children thoroughly enjoyed their visit and learned a lot about how a court operates.
