National Poetry Day - Thursday 28th September
National Poetry Day was founded in 1994 by William Sieghart and has engaged millions of people across the country reading, writing and listening to poetry. National Poetry Day will take place on Thursday 28 September 2017 and this year’s theme is “Freedom”.
We have lots of ways planned for our pupils to enjoy, discover and share poetry here at St Mary’s. We are sure they will be thoroughly inspired! We will create a wonderful display in the entrance hall, so don't forget to check it out next week!
