Welcome to Year 6!
We are so excited to experience this Year 6 journey with you and are looking forward to the academic year ahead.
In our class there are two adults who will be working with you all of the time. We have Mrs Douglas who is our class teacher and Mrs Tennyson who is our wonderful classroom support.
In Year 6 we believe that learning should be challenging and fun! We make sure that every day your learning and the opportunities you have are interesting, rewarding and most of all help you to prepare for real life as we support you in your transition to Secondary school.
We are not afraid to make mistakes and work together to overcome any barriers. We treat each other with respect and therefore our classroom is always a happy, safe and enjoyable place to be.
In our opinion Year 6 is the most exciting place to be! We work hard, have fun and feel safe whilst becoming independent, responsible and cultural individuals.
