Tuesday 26th September - STEM Rockets Workshop
On Tuesday , Fran from STEM Cumbria came to Class 3 and held a workshop all about Rockets! We had such a fantastic time learning how to make a rocket of our own!
Our first rockets were made from paper and stuck together with cellotape. We used a straw to blow air into the rocket - they didn't go very far.
Our second rocket was made from paper, but this time we stuck a small plastic cap to the top and used 30 psi of air to propel the rockets. These rockets went much further, some even hitting the gasebo roof!
