Curricular Enrichment Activities
Despite the weather, everyone enjoyed a fantastic day den building with Chris Hartman this week. Classes from reception up to Year 5 braved the weather to explore making structures outside as part of our design and technology curriculum. Well done everyone! Mr Hartman commented on how fantastic each class worked together as a team as well as their wonderful manners. Year 6 will have an opportunity to work with Mr Hartman later in the year.

Mixed Media Brockhole Visit
On 4th July 2022, Year 4 took part in a mixed media art session at Brockhole Visitor Centre, Windermere. We all had a great time experimenting with a range of different art techniques and created our own mixed media collages.

Roman pots in Year 4
The children in Year 4 have been learning all about Romans in History.
They had a go at creating their own piece of Roman pottery. The children decided what types of designs they would like on their pot and then created them from clay. They watched videos of people creating pots from clay and looked at pictures of Roman pottery in class.
