Year 2 Scientists at Work!

Year 2 have been real scientists this term, carrying out a comparative investigation to find out whether seeds need soil to grow.

After carefully planning a fair test, the children planted seeds in soil, rocks, bark, cotton wool and blue roll. They were amazed to discover that the seeds grew in all of them!

We are now busy writing up our conclusions and sharing what we have learned from our investigation.
