At St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, we are committed to being open and transparent about any charges relating to our Early Years provision. All children accessing a funded EYFS place are entitled to their free funded hours, and no additional charges are mandatory or a condition of accessing these hours.
Free Entitlement Hours
Eligible families can access funded childcare through the government’s childcare choices scheme. Information about available funding and eligibility can be found via the Childcare Choices website.
Additional Hours and Lunchtime Care
Additional private childcare hours: £8.00 per hour
Lunchtime supervision and care: £4.00 per session
Food and Snacks
There is no charge for snacks provided during the session.
Non-Food Consumables
Parents are asked to provide their own nappies, wipes, sun cream, and other personal care items as required.
Activities
All activities that form part of the EYFS curriculum are included within the funded entitlement. Any optional extras will be clearly communicated to parents in advance and will remain entirely voluntary.
We will always ensure that any charges are clearly explained to parents and that access to funded childcare is never dependent upon payment for additional services.
