Huge congratulations to Eva from Year 3, who won a Cumbria writing competition!

We travelled to Theatre by the Lake in Keswick for the award presentation, where Eva was supported by her whole class as well as her family. What a fantastic moment to celebrate together.

During the visit, we also enjoyed an inspirational talk from the author of Varjak Paw and a local author, which really encouraged everyone to keep exploring their creativity.

To make the day even more special, we had a picnic in Keswick, jumped over the river, played in the field, fed the ducks, explored work by a local artist and even stopped at Costa for a hot chocolate to warm up!

Well done Eva, we are so proud of your talent. And a big well done to the rest of KS2 for your brilliant entries too. Keep up the amazing creativity!
