Residentials

Year 5 had the most amazing time at their Muncaster Castle residential.

From camping in the beautiful castle grounds to testing their aim with archery, enjoying spectacular bird shows and heading out on a late-night bat walk.

We are incredibly proud of every single child. They showed outstanding resilience, courage, and determination, stepping outside their comfort zones and giving new challenges their very best. It was wonderful to see them supporting one another, building confidence, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Well done, Year 5—you were fantastic ambassadors for our school! 🦇🏕️🏰

Year 6 - Hawse End

WOW- what a brilliant time Year 6 had on their school residential to Hawse End. Every single child pushed themselves out of their comfort zone and demonstrated determination and excellent team work. With comments like, “This is the best day of my life” and “This is the best school trip ever” it has certainly left us with wonderful memories. 😀⭐️💕

Year 2 - Hawse End

Year 2 had a fantastic time on their residential visit to Hawse End. Throughout the trip, the children embraced every opportunity to challenge themselves and showed great enthusiasm in all that they did. They developed important skills such as teamwork, cooperation, and resilience, supporting one another and building confidence along the way.

We were incredibly proud of how they approached a range of exciting activities, including ghyll scrambling and canoeing. The children also enjoyed spotting local landmarks, even catching a glimpse of ‘Owl Island’ from Beatrix Potter and the barn featured in Bridget Jones!

Well done, Year 2—you represented the school brilliantly and made it a truly memorable experience.

Castlerigg - Year 3 and 4

The Year 3 and 4 children had a wonderful time on their residential. The theme was Advent and the children completed a range of activities, such as making rosary beads, making candles and banners, role playing the Christmas story and a walk to the lake to skim stones. The children made us so proud and their independence and resilience shone through.
