This afternoon, the Year 5 children have been busy exploring the fascinating world of plants. We carefully dissected flowers to identify their different parts and understand the important roles they play.

We then discovered how plants can reproduce asexually and put our new knowledge into practice by planting our own crops! With our green thumbs at the ready, we planted potatoes, garlic, strawberries, and green beans.

Well done Year 5, you worked incredibly well in your groups and showed wonderful curiosity about nature!
